GAP-A-THON

Texas Hearing and Service Dogs are looking for several dogs. They are actively searching for Service Dogs and Balance dogs (larger, low-key dogs for people still ambulatory but lose their balance easily and prone to falls).

These dog should be between 9months and 2 years of age and one of the larger breeds.  They need to have a very laid back personality.  They need to be pain tolerant, curious about loud noises, and great with everyone!  They should be food motivated, NOT toy or ball type dogs.  You may download Texas Hearing and Service Dogs shelter tests here.

If you have this type of dog in your shelter or rescue, Texas Hearing and Service dogs will be on site at the Texas Shelter Coalition's Adoptathon on Saturday, May 9th, 2009.  The Adoptathon and GAP-a-thon will be held at the same time and location. 10am to 3pm in lot E just in front of the Ballpark in Arlington.

We hope to see you there!
