GAP Program!

The first Gifted Animal Placement Program training class was held May 30-31 at the Fort Worth Animal Care and Control Center.  We would like to congratulate the graduating class!  Click on the picture for a full sized version.

These people worked very hard to obtain the GAP certification.  They studied the history of dogs, the anatomy of dogs and the behavior of dogs.  They learned the GAP testing methods and scoring system to best place a GAP dog.  They were thrilled to meet and interact with a "Dog Hero" who worked the World Trade center disaster as a search and rescue dog.

While the weather was very warm, and a lot of the class was outdoors, everyone survived!  We will post more class pictures and information as soon as we can.

If you did not attend this class, and wish to register for the next class, go to the GAP Training page.
